Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Thought Field Therapy (TFT)

I’d like to compare and contrast my Enlight treatment with other Energy Psychology applications.

I was introduced to energy psychology and the treatment called Thought Field Therapy (TFT) by Dr. Frank Gallo in 1993 and was certified in 1994 by Dr. Roger Callahan. The results that I was achieving in my private practice when treating trauma, phobias, anxiety, and depression were amazing. Bad habits and addictions were not responding as robustly to the treatment, but there was still noticeable improvement after a TFT application.

Beginning in 1996, I started experimenting with ways to improve my results with TFT, which has now evolved over many years into my Enlight treatment.

The main difference between TFT and Enlight, is that I am attempting to make energy psychology applications work better, broader and permanently.

Mechanically, with TFT, EFT you generally attune (think about) your problem (depression, phobias, anxiety, trauma). With Enlight, you do not actually have to attune your problem (less stress/pain for the client), rather, the Enlight theory tells you what to think about and that broad category is treated. So, it is not your symptom that you are thinking about as you do with TFT/EFT, it’s your emotional software program, also known as your emotional history.

So Enlight treats your actual emotional history as opposed to what you are actually feeling or struggling with at the moment. The treatment application is the same for everybody and works the same whether a person is experiencing mild or severe emotional obstacles.

Enlight isn’t always 100% effective but Enlight is that attempt to make TFT work more effectively and on a broader level.
